Where it all began
Over 55 years ago, Carl and Elsie Butler relocated from Wisconsin to Boulder City, envisioning an air conditioning venture. Carl, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and Elsie established Carl’s Air Conditioning & Plumbing, eventually moving to Henderson in 1967. Their daughter Sheree embraced the family business early on, learning the ropes and working with Carl for much of her life.
In 1973, Ed Bless, an Air Force armament specialist, joined the company after his service in Vietnam. Rising through the ranks, he became General Manager in 1980. By 1990, Carl retired, and Ed and Sheree—who married in 1991—took the reins. The company evolved from focusing on commercial contracts to specializing in custom home projects and operating a premier sheet metal shop in Southern Nevada.
Today, Chris leads the third generation, committed to upholding our tradition of quality, detail, and integrity.
